THE REPOSSESSION MAMBO

Abigail Archer

Abigail listened quietly to Jax as he explained the mission, he obviously omitted some details.  She shifted in her chair, still irrigated they were keeping information from the crew, but it was best at this point. It was at that point that the questions came in,
Quote"Sounds simple enough but who exactly is going to be taking down the mark?"
It was interesting question and she expected it from Art, from what Abigail observed, she began to answer however Emit jumped in quickly with a second one,

Quote"Pardon me for asking Capt.  but is this fella's  bounty dead or alive? Just sayin, is this a grab and tag or something else.  Cause those  thugs and that Dragon Queen seemed more than skilled to accomplish a simple snatch job."

And then Jo,

Quote"Plausible deniability. We get pinched doing this, they can deny anything we say and it'll likely be believed by the authorities. I mean," she gestured around at the crew. "We don't exactly look like we'd be part of the Moda Tong, do we?"

All good questions, and all valid. She clicked the back of her teeth determining how to answer the comments and questions,

"We are giving a gentleman a ride off planet, on the day of his wedding. That, is all. He will be , carefully, gently, escorted out, there will be no ruckus, and we will not attract attention to ourselves. He will also remain unharmed, and we will never, be associated with....Moda Tong. Ever." The last comment had a bite to it, that she chose to keep it short and sweet.

Quote"Good heavens, no we do not,"
Abigail shot a look of irritation to Charity, mainly because she knew the woman would have a field day putting her into a flouncy gown, "And with your help, we will all act with enough grace and panache to pass as guests at this wedding.....right?" Her eyes threatened Charity slightly but a smile crossed her lips. Looking back at Jax she nodded, "Do you have any other encouraging words of wisdom?"

Her eyes threatened Charity slightly but a smile crossed her lips. Looking back at Jax she nodded, "Do you have any other encouraging words of wisdom?"

"Well heavens yes, we don't want to shoot the poor man, the Moda's want him alive....god forbid if shots rang out and we hit something vital." Jax spouted off quickly without much thought. "We have enough invites to get us all in, but we'll split up going in at different times. I'm sure we won't be able to bring in any firepower with us anyway, you can be sure security will be tight." Jax added.

The Captain looked at Charity and Jolene..."As for The Moda Tong, no we are not them....I'm sure Anja's just testing us, or me. We pass...we keep the ship...we get paid... simple enough" He then zeroed in more on Jo. "Gonna need you to get on the Cortex and glean what intel you can on a Charles W. Ainsworth IV and his estate, the layout and buildings....maybe even a possible guest list."

Jax paused and looked around the galley, someone was missing. "Speaking of Moda, where is their little snitch Sean what's his name?" He glanced over toward the Lawman. "Is he still in his quarters Culpepper?"

Sionnach

Sean looked in the mirror and scrubbed his hair a bit and took a long look at himself.

Lad, he thought You've been in better situations than this.  Not like you to get strong armed into doing things you don't want, but then again it's not the first time you've taken a misstep and gotten pinched. Gorramit.

It wasn't necessarily that he had a problem with spying on people or anything, he was a thief and sometimes con artist by trade and inclination, but being forced to do something unsavory...and worse...not getting payed for it was against his nature.  He usually considered himself the most clever person in any room, there was a work around to this, he just hadn't puzzled it out yet.

Rest assured old boy...you will.

He exited the room he'd been given and followed the sound of voices until he made his way to the ship's galley where most, possibly all, of the crew were assembled. With a bit of surprise it struck it that he knew one of them, briefly, from several years ago.  The clever dancer lass. First order of business would be to find out all of their names and what they were about...what made them tick and how to exploit it.  Listening was easy, knowing what to listen for, and how, was the key.

"G'day, or night as the case may be good folk" he said cheerfully with his usual broad smile. "I don't know what time o' day it is by the ship's clock, sure." good manners and a good mood most always served to put people at ease...as long as you weren't TOO cheerful.

"So what's the plan for today, eh?"

Jolene Blaylocke

Jo couldn't help but grin at Charity seeming to take offense at the unintended insinuation. In reality, Jo actually agreed that none of them looked like they could possibly be part of the Moda Tong. Though there was no denying that the job sounded far more tame that she'd feared, the affirmation from both the captain and Abigail that they would not be working for the Tong beyond this one job was enough to settle Jo's mind on whether or not she would stay on. That decision also sealed the deal on filling in the captain on a piece of information that he would likely want to know about as soon as was possible.

Just as she lifted a hand with one finger raised to insert that she needed to speak to the captain, their resident 'spy' made his appearance. Large brown eyes narrowed slightly, catching what was possibly a faint hint of recognition in his eyes before it disappeared. It was so brief, she wasn't sure if she imagined it or not. Her hand lowered as her eyes went to Jax. 'Speak of the devil," she thought to herself as she purposely kept her attention away from the lean, pale man who was their 'minder' for the mission. Listening as Sean spoke, she chewed at her bottom lip. With him in the room, it wasn't a good time to speak about her finding.

Jo's hand lifted again to gain Jax's attention. "When you've got a moment, I want to get with you on those things you need and a couple of other things. Ship system security type stuff. Nothing major..." Somehow, she managed to present the words calmly, almost cheerfully as if nothing at all were the matter.

Amorru Reyes

Amorru greeted those gathered within the galley with an aloof glance and raise of his eyebrows as he and Charity entered the meeting and took their places. Trying to look bored with all the talk of a proper shindig, Amorru produced one of his last remaining clementines and a small paring knife. Peeling the fruit with an expression conveying all the unbridled enthusiasm preceding a trip to the dentist, half listened to the conversation. Apparently Wushu was now in the kidnapping business. "Figure it won't be the first time I have to remind myself to just steer the boat and not ask any stupid questions." Amorru mused internally as he took in the mission.  "Still, didn't take the Cap'n and his first mate for Moda Tong."

Seeking a distraction, or perhaps just looking to cause one, Amorru offered Charity a wedge of his precious orange before slurping one of the blade for himself. During a lull in the conversation, Reyes regarded the group from under a mask of confusion and offered an uneasy smile with a mouthful of orange wedge. Taking the fruit between his teeth and swallowing a bite, Amorru filled the dead air with his dire input. "Don't look at me. Figure I'm not good at this kind of thing." Amorru lied to the crew as the Moda Tong representative entered the scene. Amorru sized him up with an easy once-over that let the pilot know he remained at least the second best dressed person on the transport. "Cap'n just hired me to look pretty and mind the rudder."

Charity

"And with your help, we will all act with enough grace and panache to pass as guests at this wedding.....right?" Abigail asked.

Charity smiled brilliantly up at the woman, tilting her torso nearer Amorru entirely by accident. In fact, in her buzzed mind, she was still sitting straight as an arrow. "I will try my best, but I cannot perform miracles," she warned them, her brows aloft and smile ever present. She was beginning to like Abigail but every now and again she was remembered what the woman did to her dress, and she was pretty certain she'd given her the engine fuel drink on purpose but that wasn't yet a fully formed theory. There was still too much fire in her belly for her to think that intricately.

"I'm sure Anja's just testing us, or me. We pass...we keep the ship...we get paid... simple enough," Jax assured them.

Charity wasn't too interested about the details of the job past what was expected of her. And she was sure she'd have more question once the alcohol had burned its way through her body. Questions like, Aren't I just a passenger? Does this mean I'm a member of your crew now? Should I still pay for passage? Are you going to kick me off the bridge again? How would you feel about a chandelier in the cockpit?

The debutante looked momentarily startled at the pilot's offered orange wedge, but she was more than happy to reach out and take it. She turned it about in between her fingers for a few moments, quite pleased to see something that was actually food aboard the ship as she figured their current stores were likely cube shaped.

"So what's the plan for today, eh?" asked the stranger.

Placing the orange between her lips, Charity looked toward the doorway, her gaze scanning the newcomer with some mixture of curiosity and suspicion. She'd forgotten about it...or maybe she hadn't noticed him in the first place. Her brows furrowed as she tried to recall what she'd seen on the monitor in the bridge but the alcohol kept zeroing in on Jo's dress size, Jax's potential ex lover, and Amy's necklace. Biting off her bit of orange and holding the other half in her hand, she swallowed hard before turning to the pilot, "Can I call you Amy?" she asked him in a whisper, her brows raised in question and her torso leaning toward him again. Her expression was one of genuine, innocent interest and she was not aware of how her closeness with Reyes might have been making a certain doctor mildly disgusted.

Jax added his remaining remarks about the jobto the crew, and not moments after he asked about Sean,

Quote"G'day, or night as the case may be good folk" he said cheerfully with his usual broad smile. "I don't know what time o' day it is by the ship's clock, sure." good manners and a good mood most always served to put people at ease...as long as you weren't TOO cheerful.

"So what's the plan for today, eh?"

Abigail turned to the new comer with a cold stare, "I was thinking of taking out the trash. Perhaps you can help." She continued staring at Sean, Jo ended the silence,

Quote"When you've got a moment, I want to get with you on those things you need and a couple of other things. Ship system security type stuff. Nothing major..."

Her eyes wandered to the comp tech, it was a smart move with Sean around. Even Amorru and Charity seemed to quiet down around the spy. She looked over at Jax,

"We should continue this discussion later. Yes?"

Emit Culpepper

Quote"I was thinking of taking out the trash. Perhaps you can help."

Emit, glanced at Abigail offering a slight head nod of support to her statement. Taking another sip of coffee, "I don't mind helping with chores Mrs. Abigail, if you need something tossed out just let me know."

Sionnach

Sean couldn't help but smile a bit. He couldn't say he blamed them for the attitude...he wouldn't want him around either if he were them. Hell, he didn't want to be here, but things were what they were.

"Well, sir," he smirked a bit and raised an expressive eyebrow to Emit, "Not bein' part of my job really, but never let it be said that Mam Finnegan's boy shirked a bit o' work." and stepped forward to follow Abigail...and possibly Jo. Seeing as how she'd just mentioned something about ship's security, it could be worth taking the trip at least.

Artemis Graham

Art had been listening intensely, waiting for her question to be answered without much success. She was still trying to ascertain whether her presence would be required on or off ship when the newcomer entered the scene. Although she'd seen his arrival on ship, his absence from the meeting had caused her to forget about him momentarily. As he wandered in Art immediately checked herself. She wasn't exactly wearing her heart on her sleeve, far from it, but the presence of the Moda Tong operative meant it was time to batten down the hatches. No last names, not that anyone but Jax had been made privy to that information in the first place. No revelations about her background. No personal details. Give nothing away, that was her old motto. She hadn't been forced to be that secretive since her first days aboard Eibwen. It would definitely be a challenge.

Almost immediately her resolve was put to the test by the fruit covered smiles of Reyes and Charity. Her question about calling him Amy also echoed a bit louder than Charity had probably intended and it was a combination of these words and their careless attitude that caused a slight twitch of a smile to twinkle across Art's face. Damn those two! They were really damaging her steely resolve. As a means of distraction she sized up Sean as his attention was held with garbage removal but he wasn't giving anything genuine away so far. Still, he'd be worth watching.

Feeling the need to say something instead of just judging in silence, Art's eyes flashed to Jo. "If I can help with anything, or you need any supplies from the engine room just say the word," she said casually. Despite her need to be distant and cold, Art couldn't help but be accommodating to the girl. Looking at her was like looking into an old photograph of herself. And she was beginning to think they had even more in common than she'd initially suspected.

No sooner did Jax mention the Mole then he appeared in the galley wearing a Cheshire cat grin.
"G'day, or night as the case may be good folk"

Speak of the Devil... Jax thought to himself or did he mutter that lowly out loud?
"I don't know what time o' day it is by the ship's clock, sure. So what's the plan for today, eh?"

"Don't look at me. Figure I'm not good at this kind of thing. Cap'n just hired me to look pretty and mind the rudder." Reyes' tossed out there.

"Well welcome Mister Finnegan and I think I can say for the whole crew your presence here is quite disconcerting. As for what the plan is I'm thinking about getting some shut eye, it's about 2300 hours ship time by now since I last checked." Jax wasn't quite sure what to make of him and he had a good handful of questions that would have to wait for now, as the long day was beginning to wear on him.

"When you've got a moment, I want to get with you on those things you need and a couple of other things. Ship system security type stuff. Nothing major..."

The captain's attention was redirected toward Jo.... "Sure thing Miss Blaylocke, let me wrap this up."

Jax glanced toward Abigail as she spoke....
"We should continue this discussion later. Yes?"

Okay, yes....but let's just wrap this up by getting back to Graham's question." Jax motioned toward his XO.
"Abigail and I will apprehend Mister Ainsworth, details to follow in the morning.....now let's get some rest."

Jax encouraged the crew to wrap up any last minute projects they were on but that they should get some sleep, they're going to need all they can get, they have a long week ahead of them.

Jax then moved to follow Jo out of the galley to receive her report.

Grateful for somewhere else to look other than the general direction of Sean, Jo turned her attention to Art with a smile that was clear indication that she both appreciated the chance to look away from the "spy" they had on board, but the offer. Nodding affirmation, she leaned towards Art a little. "Might swing by after some sleep and have a look. Never know what we might have that could prove useful." Her voice was somewhat lowered so as not to interrupt the ongoing discussions as the meeting was winding down.

As Jax was finishing up and encouraging sleep, which was starting to sound like a really good idea, Jo was slipping from her seat. "I'll be sure to dig out that coffee I promised before morning, too," she offered to Art with an apologetic smile. She really had meant to get to it sooner, but ship matters had kept her busy. And there were still a few things left to do before sleeping. Not that she generally kept regular hours, but it would probably be a good idea to at least make an attempt at it now.

Slipping from the galley ahead of Jax, she motioned to the ladder leading to the loft where she'd left her computer running scans. Climbing up, she risked a glance back to the galley door and hoped they didn't have a pickpocket turned spy following them. Once up top, she moved to her computer and turned it slightly as she pulled up the piece of intel she needed to show her captain. "Might have a little problem and I don't mean our guest back there." She pointed to the signal that was outgoing from the ship. "They aren't following us because they don't have to and they don't need our guest to keep them updated on where we are. They know exactly where we are and where we're headed because they put a tracker on board."

Sionnach

Sean smiled thinly to himself once again.  Minding this bunch was going to be no small task.  Evidently, taking out the trash was either code for lets go talk where the Irish git can't here us or they'd simply decided not to do it at the moment because they'd wanted to talk where he couldn't hear and now couldn't because he'd volunteered to go along.

They were, however, mostly going to sleep except for the lass who seemed to  be the ship's mechanic and possibly the Captain, which more or less gave him the run of the ship as long as he was careful. Moving about unseen and unheard was, of course, his specialty so that shouldn't present a problem...on thing he did decide to do however was silently kip up the stair a bit behind his former knife throwing student and the pilot and relax and open all his senses and Listen.  One of his less fancy skills was his very practiced ability to take in tremendous amounts of sensory information around him, down to changes in air pressure on his skin, allowing him to know how many, and where people were in any given room.  It also allowed him to hear things even at a fair, though not impossible distance and through a certain amount of obstacles.  He was ready to move and just stand at the bottom of the stairs and idly toy with a small motion sensor at the first hint of silence or movement up the stairs.

All he was able to hear through the bulk head was:

"They aren't following...keep them updated......tracker on board."

He moved back down the stairs and eased into a seat at the table in the galley, and played with the sensor, turning things over in his mind.  The thief, forced to become a spy, turned the fragments of information over in his nimble mind though he realized it wasn't much...he'd heard more muffled conversation going on but couldn't clearly hear anymore of it.

All he was certain of was that there was probably some kind of tracking device about Wushu, and he didn't know of the Tong had put it there or possibly someone else who had a reason to keep tabs on the ship.

Abigail Archer

Abigail nodded at Jax and followed him and Jo out. She eyed Sean as she walked out of the galley. Coming up on Jo and Jax she caught the end of her comment but got the gist,

"Seems odd that they'd put both a spy and a tracker on the boat, unless they don't trust the spy."  She couldn't blame them, he seemed shifty, and untrustworthy, and also, not quite the type of person they were inclined to hire.

"Perhaps its something we can use to our advantage. Good catch, glad to see someone around here is working." A particular debutante was on her mind however she would hopefully prove her worth in the upcoming job.

"I'd say see if you can get a back trace, let's see if we can find out who it is...then go from there...If that agrees with our dear old captain here that is."  She smirked and rose a brow at Jax to see if he had anything else to add.

Jax

"They aren't following us because they don't have to and they don't need our guest to keep them updated on where we are. They know exactly where we are and where we're headed because they put a tracker on board."

Jax didn't know what to say at first, but then let slip out. "Well there goes any chance for sleep." As Abigail popped up from the stairway.

"Seems odd that they'd put both a spy and a tracker on the boat, unless they don't trust the spy."

Jax turned to his XO..."That Finnegan fella baffles me, maybe he's here just as a distraction."

"Perhaps its something we can use to our advantage. Good catch, glad to see someone around here is working."

Still pondering the spy jax added..."If they don't trust Finnegan, then maybe we can turn him to work for us....I'm sure we can offer him a more suitable deal then Anja did."

"I'd say see if you can get a back trace, let's see if we can find out who it is...then go from there...If that agrees with our dear old captain here that is."  Abigail smirked and rose a brow at Jax to see if he had anything else to add.

Jax smiled as he refocused on Blaylocke's find and Abigail's course of action..."Yes yes by all means..." He glanced back to Jo..."What she said, let's do that....then." He paused for second before continuing. "But as soon as you can let's kill that signal."

Quote from: Duchess"Can I call you Amy?"
Her expression was one of genuine, innocent interest and she was not aware of how her closeness with Reyes might have been making a certain doctor mildly disgusted.

Amorru's initial instinct told him to laugh the girl off, but as his eyes scanned those gathered around the galley - passing back to Art for a quick once-over - he stopped on Grace and a delightful opportunity presented itself.

'...Yes."

His visage bore an expression of calculated devious intent, Amorru himself perfectly aware of the stomach-turning effect their proximity inflicted upon a particular sawbones. The pilot smirked near to the point of sneering as he barely registered Charity's reaction, wholly satisfied with himself per the norm.

As if in an open effort to defy the sense of familiarity and contentedness developing in the crew's increasingly regular meeting place, the team's latest addition strolled into the room and immediately proceeded to get on everyone's nerves. Quickly losing interest in whatever refuse came spilling from Sean's gaping face hole, Amorru's sparkling jade eyes slid back over to Art's emerald gaze and watched the iron soften. Thinking on his options, Amorru cut another wedge of orange and lifted it slowly as the fruit's juices moistened the blade. The pilot's tongue parted his lips just enough to wet them. He took the fruit between his teeth with just a slight pinch, dragging the plump wedge from the knife so slowly it seemed as if he intended to eat all night. Finally he consumed the orange slice with a hearty slurp, emphasizing the point before forcing his attention elsewhere.

Quote from: Abigail
I was thinking of taking out the trash. Perhaps you can help,

Thinking the XO spoke to him, Amorru looked toward Abigail with his fine features somehow simultaineously twisted in confusion and scrunched in disgust. "Figure she's joking." The pilot shook his head side to side in flat refusal of Abigail's proposal before Emit spoke up.

Quote from: Emit
"I don't mind helping with chores Mrs. Abigail, if you need something tossed out just let me know."

Amorru aimed the point of his knife and thrust it toward Emit. "There's a good lad. Cheers!" Leaning closer to Charity as his eyes drifted back toward Grace, Amorru whispered in Charity's ear with his hand held between them. "The constable's beginning to grow on me." Now hiding the smirk, Amorru commented to himself. "Aye. Like an unsightly skin tag."

Xavier said his piece, followed by suggesting the crew get some sleep. "Aye, Cap'n. A little shut eye's a fine suggestion." Amorru mused as his attention slowly rounded back to Art. "Though I do hate to miss the view." The crew then departed. Amorru watched Sean's movements closely, his hand 'casually' turning the knife in a manner that confirmed for anyone with the appropriate familiarity the pilot's skill with a  blade. Amorru turned to Charity, the mention of coffee bringing another idea to mind. "Fancy a spot of tea before bed, m'lady?"

"...Yes.," the pilot answered.

Charity clasped her hands together happily, beaming at the pilot, although he didn't seem to be paying much attention to her response. She was finally getting him to warm up to her, or so she thought. Had she not been inebriated the way that she was, she would have noticed how he was looking at their Doctor. As it was, she was wholly unaware. "Oh, how wonderful! I hope you'll call me Charity," she countered, although she was beginning to understand that he enjoyed calling her everything but her name. Perhaps it was in an attempt to bother her, or perhaps it was to  make it so that when he did call her by her name, it was something special. After all, when he'd said her name before, it did feel special to her, even if it didn't to him.

-----------

Grace felt her chest constrict and had to resist the urge to settle a hand over her heart, not wanting anyone to see just how good Amorru's aim had been. She averted her gaze, staring pointedly at the floor. From what she'd seen, it was clear that Reyes and Charity had been developing some kind of fondness for one another and while she could feel the bile rising up in her throat at the thought of it, maybe it was time she forced herself to let go?

-----------

"The constable's beginning to grow on me," Amorru whispered in Charity's ear.

The debutante raised the fan up and snapped it open, using it to conceal her drunken giggle at his comment, likely making their conversation look all the more flirty and conspiratorial than it actually was. Her own gaze slid up toward Emit and she lowered the fan just enough to offer him a warm smile. He was a nice man, and he seemed very willing to do whatever was needed to help keep the ship running. Besides, his manners were charming and his personality quaint. She liked to watch him, he entertained her.

-----------

Luckily, the meeting ended and Grace didn't have to think over the whole flirty debacle much longer. With one last glance in Charity and the brash pilot's direction, Wushu's doctor stood and stormed out of the room, heading rapidly toward her own bedchambers. Surely, a good night's sleep would rid her of this foul taste in her mouth. She was practically running by the time she made it to her room, shutting the door behind her as quietly as possible. After a moment of staring into her chambers, the doctor turned and smacked her forehead against the back of the door, trying to knock out the image of the two together and attempting to calculate just how many brain cells she was losing with each thump of her head against the door...

-----------

Charity had been so absorbed in watching Amorru eat the slice of his orange and pondering her own thoughts post orange that she hadn't noticed everyone else leave. Curiously, the woman turned to watch Sean for a moment before the whole lot of nothing he was doing bored her. Thickly lashed eyes turned to watch the blade in Amorru's hand, then, and her bright smile returned. "How talented you are!" she exclaimed in an excited whisper, "I wish I was as dexterous," Charity added wistfully.

"Fancy a spot of tea before bed, m'lady?" The pilot asked.

Once more, Charity seemed remarkably thrilled that he was offering to spend more time with her. It wasn't that she was desperate for his attention, but she did want him to like her. "I would absolutely love some tea," she answered, a gentle, alcohol fueled blush creeping its way across her cheeks.

Emit, glared at the stranger with as much authoritative ability as he could muster, watching as this man left the galley.
Rising from his seat he once again filled his cup with hot brew. Quick to offer a light smile and head nod to any who remained.
Drawing his primary sidearm checking the cylinder and returning it to it's holster with a flashy spin "If ya'll will excuse me looks like I might have to make sure we don't have any rats running about freely."

Just then as Emit, was about to exit through the doorway, the stranger appeared before him as if being summoned  on cue by a little bell. Sidestepping the man as best he could Emit, almost frowned.

Sionnach

Sean stopped fiddling with the sensor and smoothly slipped it back into the confines of his long coat, and just as smoothly fished out a flask, unscrewed the cap and took several deep swallows from it.   He quite perfectly pretended to smile broadly and enjoy the non existent warmth and pleasure of alcohol spreading through him and a slight relaxation creep through him.  Nothing like playing to the stereotype of the drunken Irishman.

"So, good folk." he said mostly for Emit's benefit, "I'm fair sorry t' note that y' have such a problem with oul' Mrs. Finnegan's favorite son aboard this fine vessel and amidst ye're fine company, sure." he began with a slightly detached air, slurring would have been way over playing things, but he took another swig of the simulated bourbon that tasted and smelled perfectly like the drink but had no alcoholic benefit...he liked soda better anyway.

"I assure ye however, other than the fact that we're all currently under t' thumb o' that yīkuài gǒu shǐ Tong, we're all jest on a bit o' business...an' the same business t' boot...I'm not here to gum up the works.  You fine folks are here t' get the job done, I'm here to get the job done, not te try an' burn ye fer how ye do it."

He chuckled mirthfully for effect,

"I'd be actin' the maggot if I was te make things harder on ye an' keep ye from gettin' th' job done now wouldn't I?" he stood, took another swig, and pointed non threateningly at Emit.

"So there's no need to worry about ol' Sean gettin' into things an' gummin' up the works me good man. Alay, ye're fears an' what not." with a bit of a smooth, agile flourish he returned to his seat and raised his flask in a bit of a salute to Charity and Amy.

"Lady! Sir!" and took another drink.

Loft area above crew quarters

Jo watched the interplay between captain and XO, noting that the pair seemed to be more even keel in the area of command than a first and second. As they spoke back and forth, as well as to her, she gave short nods of confirmation or understanding as needed causing the loose braid of her hair to slip over her shoulder to her back. When they both expressed their concern and confusion about their resident spy, Jo couldn't help but press her lips together with unspoken concern of her own. Brow furrowed as she contemplated her options, but the idea of flipping Sean Finnegan was likely to be a little easier than either of them figured and the only way to explain it was a confession.

"About Mr. Finnegan..." Dark, doe shaped eyes looked down at her computer screen for a brief moment, the corner of her mouth quirking slightly as she bit at the inside of her cheek. A short, heavy sigh escaped her as she looked back up. Far from looking guilty, there was a bit of a smile dancing in her eyes. "I've... ah... I've met him once before. On Newhall no less. Caught him picking pockets and sort of cornered him on it. Never gave him my real name and never got his real name, but I figure the Tong might have just caught him attempting to 'borrow' something without permission." Laying a heavy, almost sarcastic emphasis on the word borrow, Jo offered up a shrug. "I'll see what I can dig up now that I have his real name."

Falling quiet, she watched the faces of Jax and Abigail hoping this wasn't grounds to toss her from the job as well as the ship. She didn't think it would be, but there was always a chance it might. Once again, her eyes went to her computer. "The back trace should be easy enough and killing the signal too. If the tracker is inside, I could probably even pull the gorram thing and disassemble it for parts. Might even be able to do it before putting on coffee in the morning."
