Appearance:	Minato is mixed race between a White mother and an Asian father. His Asian attributes are prominent with black hair that he usually keeps short. He does have his mother's blue eyes though.  Minato stands at five foot seven so he is about average height. Minato's build can be deceptive of his strength at first glance. He has a medium build from his time in the Alliance military. He has a blade wound in his upper right leg and a bullet wound in this left shoulder.  He normally wears simple shirts and cargo pants for whatever his is carrying.

Initial Personality:	Minato is a laid back person who isn't in a rush to do anything. Many people see him as lazy because he is constantly procrastinating to get jobs done. He can come off as a bit whiny because he complains quite a bit.  Adding to this, Minato is quick to point out flaws in any meal and how to improve it. He is an excellent cook, but doesn't tell people that.
Underlying Personality:	Minato is extremely socially awkward but he tries to hide it. He doesn't like friends so he goes out of his way to push them away.  If he does grow to like someone, he is a very loyal friend that will risk anything for.  Despite coming off as lazy, Minato prides him on his work and refuses to give a second rate job.
Known History:	Minato was born into a military family with the Core. His father was Kiyoshi Kaneshiro who was a tech officer in the Alliance. His mother was a medical officer by the name of Alexia Parish. Minato grew up quite privileged with everything handed to him. He went to the best schools and graduated military academy with honors in Information Technology. He served his early years in the server rooms of several Alliance vessels but serve majority of his time on a Trebuchet Class vessel. Minato came to design the base code for a few lesser Alliance ships which helped him raise in the ranks. He was a part of the military during the Unification war.   Rumor has it that he started selling Alliance information to the black market around this time. He rose to Senior Officer on the Trebuchet Class vessel where he stayed for seven years. During this time, Minato leaked tons of classified information to pirates that caused many Alliance cargo transports to be raided. Minato was eventually exposed, and he went on the run. He has worked with several pirate crews since then as a gunhand and hacker. Minato has several warrants on him for his leaks and raids along with several other things. Because of his knowledge of Alliance systems and protocol, Minato is a commonly recommended for these jobs. His personality is known to be grating but he is an expert at what he does.
Other History:	Minato's father spent quite a bit of time with him as a child working and competing in robotics. His father helped him with the structural aspects, but Minato found that he was quite exceptional in the programming aspect. His father taught Minato the value of perseverance which became one of his driving tenets. His mother was quite cold to him though and didn't show him much attention. She praised his accomplishments but never showed much interest aside from that.  His teenage years were filled with beatings from peers for a myriad of things from insulting people out of habit to explaining how they were doing something wrong. There was an incident in high school his father buried that involved an important exam. Minato was paid by a group of students to hack into the school's database to get the answer key. Minato was sloppy though and he was caught. He faced expulsion, but his father greased the right palms and it was forgotten. Minato was bitten by a bug he couldn't shake at this point though. After that, Minato kept his nose clean at least until he was halfway into college. Minato became part of a hacker group that didn't cause much harm, but they did troll several systems in the university. They would hack into the network and cause random things to go wrong. One of the group though was caught recording the wrong people which got Minato to back out quickly. A lot of these activities took from his studies and he barely made honors. Minato was in the military during the Unification war, but he didn't see much action aside one incident. A group of pirates boarded to steal some data from the servers. Minato had a run in with them during this heist and shot him in the shoulder. The official story was he trying to be a hero and that is how he was shot. The unofficial story though is that he gave them the data and had them to shoot him to look like he put up a fight. This is what set up his first contact that started his spiral downward. He stayed in contact with the pirates and fed them whatever profitable information that he could. During this time, Minato proved himself in a professional manner with his work on pre-production vessels and in-service projects. Over the years, Minato rose in the ranks until he found himself as the Senior IT Officer on the Trebuchet Class that he had been working for most of his career. What he didn't know at this time though is that an agent was researching and tailing Minato from recent suspicion that had been rising in his activities. It took two years to prove anything because his superiors doubted that Minato would be doing such a thing. When they were about to close in on Minato and arrest him, one of the pirates he had been working for tipped him off. Minato stole whatever gear and information that he could while he could. He fled the ship before they could apprehend him and went to work for the pirate crew that helped him escape. Minato spent most of the rest of his time with this particular vessel as a gunhand and computers expert. His knowledge of Alliance systems and the core worlds helped the pirates make considerable amount of profits. This lasted for several years before the ship was assaulted by Alliance forces which left most of the crew dead or captured. Only Minato and one other woman escaped the onslaught while on a recon mission on an outer world. Since then, Minato has been laying low and taking jobs under the table
Skills and Strengths:	Because his experience in the military, Minato knows how to wield and use a gun. He is also train in tactical combat even if he doesn't have much combat experience.  He is an amazing hacker and IT technician with experience with Alliance systems of several vessel classes.
Weaknesses:	He is slow to finish things and can be lazy at times. This speed does come from his perfectionism but it does become his downfall on certain types of mission that are time sensitive.  Minato is on the Autism Spectrum and can be considered high functioning autistic (Asperger's Syndrome)  This subjects Minato to social issues that wear on the nerves of those around him.  Minato is extremely arrogant which bleeds out into his personality and activities. Biology can confuses Minato to no end and hates the sight of blood to the point where he will throw up if sees it.
