Appearance:	Rebecca is a 5'7" tall slim, sensual brunette with exotic looks, big doe-like chocolate brown eyes, a very curvaceous thin figure, a taut impressively trim midriff, and her most distinctive figure - being quite naturally endowed. Rebecca had always been very physically graceful even before Companion training due to natural agility and the ability to contort her body. But something about her genetics has made her quite physically weak - even when she hits someone as hard as she can, it's more like being slapped by wet noodles. Rebecca is well-trained in how to be seductive, alluring & attractive, which is very common for someone that is a registered Companion. That does also explains why her dress style tends to include a very dual-sided collection of outfits. There is as typical a collection of Companion suitable long silky dresses & very lacy sexy underwear, but also, there are numerous more casual and fitting outfits for a blue-collar working ship - often showing off her midriff and with boots. Very often, she has concealable weapons including a stun baton and sharpened throwing spikes in her hair.

Initial Personality:	From the outset, it very much depends on what sort of social situation you meet Rebecca in as to what your opinion you will have of her. The reasoning behind that is that she is a very talented actress who is quite devious and manipulative. You may see her as an elegant & charming Companion on the outside, or you may see her as an overly sarcastic but rather capable pilot who delights in meeting new people. Most likely, she will introduce herself as Becca and not mention her last name or her full name unless requested. She has her own reasons why, which she doesn't like disclosing (her mother). Rebecca is quite happy to travel on the Transport Ship "The Darling," knowing that it is a blue-collar working ship, but that just makes things more likely that her mother won't find her. She is fine with finding Companion jobs when she can work at ports if she feels like it, so she signed up as a pilot under Barnaby Goodweather, finding him a rather good man.
Underlying Personality:	Rebecca was honest with Barnaby and the crew about her history and that she is hiding out from her 'Witch of a Mother,' who she despises. But she won't really tell anyone that she has to in case they could be spying for the Witch. Becca is a follower of Zen Buddhism and does not like the thought of killing anyone & minimizes hurting others. She would rather just dissuade them from continuing with violence. She dislikes violence.
Known History:	Rebecca Zavaleta was born as a twin on the Core Planet of Ariel, a metropolitan world located on the New Canaan Run trade route, to an upper-class family. Her twin is a boy who was named Adam - because her family used biblical names. Her father, Noah Zavaleta, is fairly high up in the Trader's Guild, and her mother, Maria Zavaleta, was a ship's engineer. Rebecca & Adam also had three older brothers - Jeremiah, Jacob, and Isaac. In the family, Maria was definitely in charge, as her father was more of a gentle soul. The family lived and worked on a very lucrative transport ship, the SS Dragonfly, on the New Canaan Run trade route, and quickly turned out to be a daddy's girl, spending lots of time on her father's lap as he flew them through the Central Planets. It was quite expected that she learned how to turn men's hearts with her big doe eyes that were impossible for her father to stay angry at if she did anything wrong. Rebecca was quite clever as a girl and began learning the basics of how ships are piloted as she was learning how to speak & walk. But, her life was about to change with Maria's attempts to foster idea onto Rebecca, which she had never been able to - Maria had been rejected by the Companion Guild, and that stung in her heart was one that was going to be eased by her daughter. When Rebecca was around twelve, Maria applied to the Companion Guild for Rebecca to join a Companion Training House and was delighted when the little doe-eyed brunette girl with exotic looks was accepted in. Rebecca has torn away from her family and moved to the planet where the Training House was, where she was trained to become a Registered Companion. It was initially very hard for Rebecca to be away from Noah & her brothers, but she eventually grew to find other role models. She was cut off from being able to learn how to be a pilot, but that love never left her. Rebecca was a really good student, and when she could go on shuttles or ships, Becca would watch the pilots and sometimes even convince them to let her practice in places where they or she wouldn't get caught. Finishing up her Companion training at aged 18, she was assigned to a Companion House for a short period, and in her off-duty times, Rebecca devoted a proportion of her money to improving her piloting skills & getting actual instructor lessons. Six months later, Rebecca obtained her Private Pilot's License for flying small ships and single crew ships that would take non-paying passengers. It was at that point that Rebecca chafed under the cloistered lifestyle and applied to be a traveling Companion, for she had heard on the grapevines that Maria was looking for her and she never wanted to speak to her mother again - having developed a hatred for the woman that broke up her family. Traveling on some luxury cruisers and other vessels was a good way. The next five years were spent working as a Companion, traveling around the 'Verse on various luxury cruisers, but then, her mother has been searching harder and so, Rebecca had decided that she needed to find a different plan, especially when she was just a few hours ahead. So, Rebecca bought a small transport ship that she could run out of. Working out of larger ships had been good, but well, it was a bit easier to find. Since she had built up all the flying time to get a commercial pilot license, Rebecca also went and got that. That would be her plan for two years after while she worked on getting her commercial pilot license. Subsequent to that, Becca began looking for a vessel she could switch to doing piloting on, and then after a while, she was in a bar waiting for a contact and heard word of a Scarab Class Cargo/Salvage vessel, The Darling, run by one Captain Goodweather that could provide honest work & needed a pilot. Rebecca sold her ship & the majority of her possessions that would be too difficult to bring along and has signed aboard the Darling.

Skills and Strengths:	Rebecca is an exceptional natural pilot who started out sitting on her Daddy's lap while he flew the SS Dragonfly, and since then in between working as a Companion, she has practiced a lot & got her private & commercial piloting license for ships up to transports, but she's pretty sure she can fly the big beasties too. Becca also found that her piloting skills are useful in driving around on planets too. She knows how to navigate through space and on planets as well. However, her piloting and driving skills do not translate very well into actually fixing vehicles, and she's liable more to be a hindrance than a help. Rebecca is a quite imaginative woman who is very energetic, versatile, independent, and adaptable. She has pretty much looked after herself and kept ahead of her Witch of a Mother. She has very much been quite lucky throughout her life. Rebecca is a Registered Companion, and even before gong through years of training, she always had very good communication skills and was quite a clever little girl - even though she may not look as smart. Becca is quite smart & enjoys debating, discussing, and chatting about many subjects, being quite learned. Becca is multi-lingual, being able to speak fluent English and Mandarin Chinese, with a Core Speech dialect to her English. She is quite alluring and charming, with strong skills in persuasion and seduction. Rebecca has always been interested in sleight of hand and found it to be a very useful skill to cultivate. This also is quite useful in doing magic tricks, which can be useful for entertaining clients and others. Becca plays the flute very well and has brought one along to The Darling with her. She finds it relaxing and has been told she is quite good. Becca was well-trained in dance, and due to her agility & flexibility from being able to contort her body, her dancing is very beautiful to watch. Rebecca knows how to do gymnastics, balance, and climbing, so she is very good at dodging and moving quickly across various surfaces. While in Companion training, Rebecca was trained in archery with a bow, how to use throwing knives & spikes, how to conceal weapons on her person and how to use the fast-acting, skin-contact sedative patches that Companions have available. In addition, she chose an unarmed martial arts form that had descended from ancient Aikido, where practitioners could use to defend themselves while also protecting their attackers from injury. This means she knows how to use joint locks,  pressure points, and throws to redirect the opponent's attack momentum to stop an attacker from continuing to be violent.
Weaknesses:	Rebecca would much rather prefer not to kill anyone and will try to disarm or hinder in preference. One of the reasons is that she follows Zen Buddhism. Even though she is Buddhist, Becca doesn't really believe that includes honesty or being truthful. She can be quite devious and manipulative. It isn't like she is a compulsive liar, but she does believe that bending the truth is okay. One of the things that Rebecca isn't good with is actually repairing ships after flying them around. It is more likely that she will be a hindrance than a help. Rebecca has a bit of a sarcastic streak to her at times, although she doesn't really think so. It is more than others have told her. Overall, Rebecca tends to quite superficially take an idea of other's real qualities by judging them how they treat her instead of looking deep. She can really get the wrong impression of someone because of that. Rebecca is quite restless and impulsive, having trouble staying still, and she tends to react to things without thinking or planning. She has spent most of her adult life with wanderlust & doesn't do well with boredom, becoming mischievous when bored. Rebecca is also quite jumpy with a nervous temperament.

Equipment

Rebecca has brought along a selection of midriff-baring Companion silk dresses & casual clothing, having sold off a lot of it. She has also brought along a quite expensive violin and her longbow & leather archery bracer to protect her arm. Becca has a strong leather quiver that can hold 20 arrows in it. She does not believe in hurting others, so she prefers to just disable. For that purpose, she has concealed a stun baton and various throwing hair spikes & a concealed knife - often where men don't search. Becca also has a supply of Companion fast-acting, skin-contact sedative patches. Rebecca also has a collection of id cards, including an official Ariel access passport & a Trade Guild ID card.
