*Appearance:*	Isa is 5'8" with a slender build, dark brown eyes, and black wavy hair, which usually rests on her shoulders. You'll rarely find her slouching due to her previous military training, as much as she abhors it now. Some smile lines can be seen on her face, however most would find her to be relatively serious.
*Faceclaim:*	Zoe Saldana

*Initial Personality:*	When first meeting Isa, most will find her quite sassy and perhaps a little sultry. She has a quick sense of humor and smile that falls under the category of, "yes I find you attractive, but I might also be trying to kill you." The woman is deadly and has the temper of an explosive hand grenade. One can never really tell if she's trying to seduce you, or is plotting to kill you, steal your belongings and bury you in a shallow grave. On the other hand, when it comes to business deals and high stress situations, most will find Isa akin to that of an Alliance captain. Partially because she was one in a previous life, but also because her former military training has a tendency to kick in, and never went away.
*Underlying Personality:*	Isa is fairly quick witted and tends to tease the ones she closest to the most. She's passionate and aggressively loyal, to a fault. Though she will also burn you, your things, and your loved ones to the ground, if you ever cross her, and if she ever finds out. Disloyalty isn't something Isa takes lightly, even if it's just skimming some off the top, a lie is a lie. Her trust is hard to earn and is usually reserved for those that she has served with for an extended period of time.

*Known History:*	Born on Osiris to Alcides Romero and Rosália Zavala. Her father was a judge on Osiris and well known for convicting multiple criminals, browncoats, and other nefarious individuals, with harsher punishment than necessary. Her mother stayed home and took care of her, ensuring Isa grew up to be a lady. However, at the age of 8 Alcides was murdered by a criminal organization, for sentencing a top hitter to the chair. Rosália remarried a year latter, because how else was a lady to take care of her only daughter, to Marco Mendoza, a Major in the Alliance. She loved Marco, and loved the military. They moved frequently, however she was always treated like a princess. Eventually Isa enlisted at 18 and moved her way up through the ranks. Marco eventually died during a raid on one of the border planets, however an autopsy was never done and his body was never found. Just a few pieces of him. The soldiers said it was reavers, but that's not possible right? Reavers are just a story to scare children. Her mother, unable to remarry, with no real skill set depended on Isa for money. Isa began smuggling goods and selling them throughout the fleet, it started small with things like cigarettes, booze, food, clothing, etc. Eventually she began to smuggle externally to make more money to send home. Isa began to sell weapons, ammo, explosives, and other related items off on the border planets, setting up a small enterprise in the fleet. No one really thought of it until she became Captain of her own command and things became a little more noticeable. Eventually Isa was caught and was dishonorably discharged, with no jail time. If she had gone to jail, word would've gotten out that more than a few high ranking officials took part, and that wouldn't look very good for the Alliance.
*Other History:*	After being discharged, Isa went home and lived with her mother until she passed away. Eventually she found her way to Persephone for a more affordable way of life, piloting small carriers to and from the station, as a glorified delivery person. She swore off smuggling again until the Miranda broadcast came out. It wasn't until then that she realized Marco really had been devoured by Reavers, and god knows what else. It was in that moment that she realized what her whole life had stood for. What she had defended, what made her who she was, and that needed to change. Soon after a former crew mate, friend and subordinate of Isa's contacted her. Melody had Isa's old boat....and it was ripe for the picking.

*Skills and Strengths:*	Flying, commanding, generally telling people what to do. Hand to hand combat, stealing things, shooting, being overly sassy and confident.
*Weaknesses:*	Do not ask her to provide medical care. You will die. Probably best she steers clear of the engine room as well, unless you'd like to turn the whole ship into a piece of space junk.
