Appearance:	From her chocolate brown hair that gently scrapes at her shoulders to her piercing yet deep oceanic blue eyes, Sly has one of those faces (and neck line) that you'd willingly tell your secrets too, a trusting face. A lean tight build and a smirk that could make any heart flutter. Even though she's only 5'6", she carries the tone about her, a belief, that she could handle any situation that is thrown at her. Although her natural beauty, Sloane grew up with a clan of brothers and it shows in her regular 'rough' look to her. It's a rare site to catch this one outside of pants and shirts, let alone anything that would actually compliment her figure in the right places. Her mother really did the best she could and made all effort to shower her only daughter in beauty, but with all the males around her, it's no wonder she doesn't like anything, but pants. As private eye, Shy has her share of scars, some small and barely noticeable, some large with tall tales behind them. Her hands are littered with rings, different shapes and sizes along with a special watch she wears that can do anything from hack into a building's security system and disable it to actually telling time. There's an tattoo of a bells-of-Ireland flower on her upper left arm (Flower Tattoo), one on the side of her ribs of her family's flag tearing through her skin (Flag Tattoo) and her Breene family crest on right arm.

Initial Personality:	Her past clients have said that Sly is a truth seeker and won't stop until she finds what she's looking for. She has a never-ending hunger for puzzles and solving mysteries. No matter how much you try and keep whatever skeletons you have locked away, Sloane can read you like an open book. From watching your body language, your tone of voice, what you say, Sly doesn't have to ask questions to get what she needs. With a poker face that could fool even the most experience players, the Breene sister keeps her cards close to her chest and only shows them to the people closest to her. Because she's smaller than most, she developed the ability to be able to hide in the plain sight, all those years of playing hide-and-seek with all her brothers growing up and never being able to find whatever place she choice to position herself. Looking the way she does, Sly gets more male advances than she'd like and she's heard every single pick-up line ever said in the entire 'verse (or at least it seems like it). Just because she's pretty doesn't mean she can't still kick your pi gu. Sloane has a notorious reputation for breaking the wrists of men who can't take 'No' for an answer, it's usually loud and painful, a sort of warning sign to others who don't heed the bartender's warnings. She can play dirty just like the boys can and it's grown into a nasty habit of thinking that she's 'bulletproof'. She'll walk into whatever situation she ends finding herself in and have the confidence to be able to tilt it to her advantage.
Underlying Personality:	Her childhood felt like everyone thought she was some glass figurine, must be protected and kept her in some safety bubble from all the dangers of the world, being the youngest (and only daughter) of the Breene siblings. Her mother tried to shove anything female down her throat. So naturally, Sly rebelled. Her brain processed what was given to her, of course and the information was stored in a particular place in her brain. She has said that she 'lazily' stores information in her brain to be able to access it later like a memory palace (or mental Method of Loci) although she didn't realize what she was doing at first until she got older. Her parents really didn't know just how intelligent she was and they still don't know, according to Sly. But under all the brains and brawn, Sloane Breene is still the youngest and smallest in her large family causing her insecurity and anxiety. To them, she's still the fragile little girl who broke her arm after falling off the shoulders of one of her brothers and has a never-ending battle against her overwhelming urge to prove herself, to her family, to her clients, to everyone, even herself. Sly inherited her father's Irish temper, which she can usually keep under wraps and be able to reroute it in her brain to use the energy towards something else. It's rare, but not impossible. She retreated into technology at a young age and still uses it to help calm her anxiety when it flairs up. If Sloane isn't able to, the anxiety can launch a full-blown panic attack, can't breathe, dizziness, even fainting sometimes, the works. Once she starts the climb, it's really hard for her to stop. The only one that has ever been successful in bringing her back down mentally and physically from one of these attacks is her closest brother, Willy.

Other History:	When Sloane was born on a particular cold June night on the Bobby Sands to William Breene and Tessa Breene, it shocked an entire generation of Breene's. The first girl in her whole family. Since the moment she entered this world, the males Breene's have protected her and build what felt like a bubble around her. Her mother was an ex-child actress who quit to explore what the 'verse had to offer and she finally had a daughter after years of having sons. She admittedly shoved more dresses, dolls and make-up in her Shy's life than she probably could, but what could she say, Tessa finally had the little girl she and her own mother had always dreamed of. Sloane had the opposite effect and just wanted to be one of the guys. Any chance she got, little Sly was wrestling, running and rough-housing with her older brothers. But there was an incident when her mother was running an errand on nearby space station with at the time Teenage brother Willy that changed her brother's behaviors towards their baby sister. Her mother was signing for some post while Willy was watching something on a screen playing when little Sly was approached by a shady man, a man who knew who her father was. It happened so quick, no one saw it. He tried to yank her into his arms, she kicked him as hard as she could in the groin. He dropped her, she screamed, Willy immediately came her rescue and almost got a piece of him too, but did proceed to chase him through the station. Ever since then, her father and band of brothers taught her how to handle herself, physically and mentally. She would not be the 'weakness' of the family that their enemies potentially saw her as and her father made sure of that. Growing up the way they did, all the Breene children were home schooled. Her father didn't believe in putting any of his kids in school with Alliance ties because according to Papa Breene, they really didn't know 'what thoughts and ideas' they were putting in their heads. But her hunger grew more than what her parents were teaching her. She seemed smarter than her brothers, her parents, her friends, everyone around her. With her knowledge ever growing, Sloane seeked out whatever she could get her hands on, reading every book, watching every video and listening to every online seminar until she was old enough to actually enroll in on an Academy on Ariel. With her brothers always looking out, older brothers Will and Wilhelm, the more conservative/cautious ones, always encouraged her to look at the Law Enforcement Academy. She always loved solving mysteries and figuring out puzzles, even as a kid, it made it hard keeping anything from her. She'd always figure out where the presents were stowed. Her mother's thirst to see the rest of the black was also deep inside her and decided to go. They taught her how to use that big brain of hers and train to use it in the right way. Even though her parents were furious with her decision, she was their only daughter and ended up supporting her in their own interesting, loud, stubborn way. Once she graduated, the Academy 'strongly' encouraged her to join the Federal Division, like her older brother, Will. But Breene blood in her had other ideas. Willy and Billy had planted a small seed that ended up growing into her now future. Why work for the government when she could use the free education and training she got and go into work for herself. Helping the people that the Alliance over looked and left behind. Her parents, overjoyed with her decision of not following Will's footsteps, actually helped her find her now private eye business. They even put down the down deposit for her. Years later, Fírinne Investigations would be one of the top-rated private eye services on Ariel. Recently, she's taken on a rather difficult case of a missing girl, who's last traces have been on the space station, Iscariot. To the untrained eye, the case had been marked as a run-away, but Sly saw the foul-play involved and leaped to be able to prove the Alliance wrong like she had been doing for years.
Skills and Strengths:	-Computers/Technology: She's yet to find any software with a keyboard and a monitor she couldn't handle. -Mechanic Knowledge: Because she grew up on a ship, she can help triage mechanically. She's not an expert, by any definition of the word, but she can at least make whatever's beeping stop beeping and help out when push comes to shove. -Decent Shot: Not exactly a sharpshooter, but pretty decent. -Hand Combat: Growing up with a litter of brothers and Academy training, she basically grew eyes on the back of her head and able to handle herself well in a tussle, despite her small size.
Weaknesses:	-Flying: It always gives her a little nausea, even now as adult. Her parents did their best to try and get her physically use to it, but never prevailed. Her father never misses an opportunity to retell the story of the last time they tried, she destroyed one of the ships' computers from puking on it as a teenager. -Anxiety: She can usually keep it under control, but when it takes over, she is completely out of commission until she's able to calm back down now. -Alliance Citizenship: Because of her unusual birth situation, Sloane is technically a born citizen of the Alliance, making that dangerous knowledge for the company she usually keeps. -Her Family: She considered them probably her 'greatest weakness' (but sometimes 'strength' when the situation calls for it) and would break many laws to assure their safety.
