  • Scout: I'll still have to get 10 posts in as Mattie before I'll get another character approved, correct?
  • Rolemancer: @Scout...Well get her together and maybe she can join us at the next stop.
  • Scout: It doesn't really fit with her character and I don't have the inspiration to create a new tech specialist. None of my existing characters fit that niche either I'm afraid :/
    March 23, 2018, 09:21:13 PM
  • Rolemancer: @Scout...Wushu just picked up a passenger. Why not make her a Tech Spec? :)
    March 23, 2018, 09:14:12 PM
  • Scout: She could join Wushu, if the "negotiable" position could be negotiated for a passenger ;)
    March 23, 2018, 08:19:08 PM
  • Scout: Pele, she was a companion who got sacked for stealing and there was all sorts of trouble for her
    March 23, 2018, 08:13:22 PM
  • Desertpuma: I do not see a problem with it. Who was the character?
    March 23, 2018, 08:01:28 PM
  • Scout: It's been like ten years real time (yikes), none of the characters who interacted with her are around anymore and I can't remember enough of her development to continue her, per se. But I loved the concept and would like to give her a new life.
    March 23, 2018, 06:59:28 PM
  • Scout: Would it be fine to reboot a character I played way back in the old FS? The one that took place 5+ years prior to the current incarnation?
    March 23, 2018, 06:58:17 PM
  • Desertpuma: You all have snow and I had a high yesterday of 86F
    March 22, 2018, 01:18:36 PM
  • Artemis Graham: It never snows over here so I can't grasp the annoying reality of having to drive in it. I'm just jealous I don't ever get to make snow angels...
    March 22, 2018, 01:12:30 PM
  • Scout: Yikes
    March 22, 2018, 06:43:29 AM
  • RUNE: That doesn't sound fun. Stay safe
    March 22, 2018, 06:29:09 AM
  • Rolemancer: Up to 9 inches so far and still snowing!
    March 22, 2018, 01:13:27 AM
  • Helena: lots of snow here
    March 22, 2018, 12:53:55 AM
  • Spacecowboy: No snow we had Tornados instead
    March 21, 2018, 11:07:06 PM
  • RUNE: Wuff. No fun, Role. We had some flurries yesterday but nothing stuck
    March 21, 2018, 10:13:27 PM
  • Rolemancer: WE're having a nice Spring SNOW storm! :(
    March 21, 2018, 09:38:47 PM
  • Spacecowboy: Hope everyone is having a great week
    March 21, 2018, 08:42:44 PM
  • Rolemancer: :D

Finding Serenity

Finding Serenity is an original-character roleplay set in Joss Whedon's Firefly 'Verse. Events take place after the events of the Serenity movie.

The year is 2519.

Earth-That-Was is long gone. Humans found a new group of solar systems with dozens of planets and hundreds of moons. The "Core" planets are civilised, high-tech and under Alliance control. The "Border" worlds are diverse and distinct. The "Rim" is the wild west of the 'verse and the "Black" is where our ships travel, hoping to avoid the perils of space: Alliance, pirates, and the monsters known as Reavers.

So here we are, on the "raggedy edge". This is where our characters live. There are those who stick by the Alliance Government, those who want to rise up against it, and those that just don't care either way as long as they can make a living. With every turn, every choice put forward and every decision made we are FINDING SERENITY

Activity, Inactivity and Face Claims
« on: January 16, 2013, 06:25:43 AM »
Face Claims and Inactivity
The Crew Manifest and Casting Call will continue to be updated frequently so that it should be easy to see what positions and which faces (should you choose to use one) are available.  Re-occurring and Notable NPCs will now be included on the casting call as well.  Face Claims on the Casting Call will be kept as long as the Player remains active.

Active is defined as follows:

Ship Activity
Each ship has their own prefered posting rate set by the Captain and/or narrator.  A player may be contacted by said Captain or Narrator if a character is falling behind the posting of the others and no absence notice is given.  The story will continually moving on according to this posting rate whether a character has posted or not.

Inactivity - Character
If a player has not posted with a character within a thirty day period and has not provided a reason for the absence the narrator/captain/faction leader has the right to move said character out of play but not off the ship/faction as of yet. A PM will be sent to advise the player about this.

If a player has not posted with a character within a sixty day period, nor responded to any PMs the character will be marked as Inactive and the sheet moved to the Retired Forum.  The Character will be removed from the ship/factionís crew manifest and will be removed from the ship/faction at the earliest in character convenience.

Inactivity - Player/Face Claims
Inactivity for the Casting Call is player based.

Any player that has not posted with at least one character in a 90 day period will be moved to inactive and will have inactive marked against all face claims in the casting call.

Any Player that has not posted with at least one character in an 180 day period will have all their face claims removed from the casting call.

If you have not logged into any of your accounts in a 180 day period you will be removed from the member list.

N.B.  We do not delete any players member accounts but rather set them to a non active status. They are very easily retrieved
