Is this ship dead too? According to her profile PR has popped by in January, but she hasn't posted since November.

I will try to get another post at the end of the week. I had not heard anything from PR in some time. I am fine with pushing forward if others are up for it.

The holidays did a number on me and I am guessing others

I think it's just Axe, Lomari and me around right now, with Axe still being swamped with stuff. I don't know how much of a story we can get going between the three of us...

I don't think this ship has much life in it at the moment. Maybe DP will start another round of recruiting when he has more free time.

The idea was always to have PR be the Captain of the boat ... that can certainly change moving forward.

Yes, real life has been very busy. I am to try and get at least a post up for Ronin and I was the last to post in Allure as well

Im sorry I missed your Briar post in the asides Scout.
As for the main thread, it didn't seem like there was much to do... Apologies if you guys feel I should have been doing more as captain. I've been checking the site and it seeing much to post with in general, so I guess I started checking in less...

Anyway, I love David so if we want to close Brass Ferret, that's fine but I'll be bringing him elsewhere for sure.

It's cool, the asides posts don't show up as new posts the same way posts in the main ship forum do so it's easy to miss them unless you always check all new posts separately when you visit the forum (I don't know if that's a setting that could be edited to make them harder to miss).

I'm fine with sticking around as Briar for a while longer to see if we can get the ship off the ground again or something. I'm not in a hurry to shelve her or take her elsewhere.

Maybe DP can set us up for a job in some narrations?
We could do some recruiting as well, if we want to keep it going.

Axe: Since you've been feeling uninspired by E.V. but wanting to play Des somewhere, maybe you could bring him on board? What with us being short a mechanic and him and Briar having history together. Just an idea.

With Desmond being primarily a mechanic, though - would he get more play on the heist ship or on the Ferret?  Worthwhile question to ponder.  Also (and Axe is the only one who can answer this) which location would let him interact with other characters in the most fulfilling way for the character? 

<edit> - Missed the part about the gearhead position on the Empress being comparable to a mechanic.  N'er mind.

Mechanic may be what Des would put on his tax returns, but really he's a smuggler through and through. He's pulled a heist or two with various crews in the old days.

Though I would def have considered bringing him on here if he hadn't been snagged already.
