Just want to keep you all updated.  I am having a rough time wrapping my head around this ship.  I think it might be because I wasn't the one that started this plot and still don't have a grasp of what ky had envisioned. 

I am thinking of breezing through this episode pretty fast, giving them a win on their first job and then getting back to something I can work with after. 

Any thoughts?

I'm down with that.

For me, the fun is in the character development, not so much the details of a job/plot.

So, maybe we could have a little time to play out a scene of everyone in their roles ie. Bobby & Chris pretending to be an item, Aylish doing the captain-y thing of keeping everyone in check and safe, Trent could have a moment of action/heroics or what-have-you... Use this as an opportunity maybe to showcase their roles as part of the crew, and then I'm all for a quick cut to a get-away or getting paid.

OK guys...  I have a problem.  I had an admin have to step down for a bit on my other rp site and I need to take up the slack.  Unfortunately, I just don't have the bandwidth to narrate 6 ships.  I am hitting my limit with 5, especially since I now have a job.

I am still willing to play, but someone else needs to take over.  Any takers?

Thanks so much to all ya'll here for making The Hound. I know it's been slow lately and hasn't gotten very far off the ground but I've thoroughly enjoyed playing here. And everyone on this ship I feel like I have a bond with, some of us have played together a long time in various games! I'm going to miss you. I hope The Hound can keep going.


I'm not sure what's the best way to write Bobby out. I dislike doing the sudden "I'm sorry I just have to go" plot but I think Aylish is too good a Captain for something bad to happen to one of her crew on their first mission. Maybe, since there was the idea to almost fast-forward this mission it might be easy enough to NPC Bobby through it and simply have her decide the bounty hunting life is not for her. Or, there again, if it is fun for character dynamics, we could have her disobey an order or do something else wrong and Aylish fires her insubordinate ass...
